YEEZY BOOST 350 V2: AN ICONIC SNEAKER AND MORE

KANYE WEST'S RISE IN FASHION

Rapper, producer, designer, and lover of fashion and art, Kanye West is a true multifaceted artist. Eager to create products under his own name, he began his ascent by collaborating with varying degrees of success with several streetwear brands like Bape and Nike. Always ahead of the curve, he also partnered with Louis Vuitton on a series of sneakers. Notably, Virgil Abloh, the current artistic director of the Parisian fashion house, was once the American rapper's right-hand man. Discontented and frustrated with previous collaborations, Kanye partnered with Adidas in 2015 to create not just a simple collaboration, but a joint venture in the vein of Nike and Jordan. Thus, the Yeezy brand was born, now a staple in the streetwear and sneaker world.

YEEZY 350 & YEEZY 750: THE BEGINNING OF SUCCESS

The in-depth collaboration first introduced the Yeezy 750 silhouette. Bearing a striking resemblance to the Nike Air Yeezy II from Kanye's previous partnership with Nike, the extremely limited edition model created a buzz and rapidly gained popularity. Capitalizing on this early success, Kanye went on to unveil the most iconic sneaker of his entire design career, the Yeezy Boost 350.

With its futuristic and streamlined design, the sneaker quickly became the must-have silhouette in recent years. It played a significant role in popularizing and democratizing the limited edition sneaker system we know today, involving resellers and a raffle system to win the chance to purchase a pair.

Adidas and Kanye West have since focused on other silhouettes, such as the futuristic Yeezy Boost 380, dad shoe-inspired Yeezy 500 and Yeezy 700, and more recently, slip-on models like the popular Yeezy Slide and Yeezy Foam RNNR.

YEEZY BOOST 350 V2: THE EVOLUTION

Following the initial success, Kanye West unveiled a second edition in 2016. Updated and modernized, the silhouette maintained the same overall lines as its predecessor. Simply named Yeezy Boost 350 V2, the sneaker's architecture was reimagined to be slightly wider, curvier, and overall more generous. This sneaker took the design to new heights, becoming the most popular limited edition model ever released. The cutting-edge design features a Primeknit sockliner base with an Adidas Boost technology outsole. Since its release, the Yeezy 350 V2 has been available in various colorways: Zebra, Beluga, Bred, Triple White, and more.

Regarded as a visionary by his peers, Kanye West has become one of the most influential designers in the world. Each new release is an eagerly anticipated event! The Yeezy 350 V2 silhouette is already a classic, embraced by a continually expanding audience.

YEEZY BOOST 350 V2: SIZE AND FIT

As with the Yeezy 350, we recommend going half a size up from your usual size for each model. For example, if you typically wear a size 40, opt for a size 40 2/3! The front of the foot can often feel slightly compressed by the Primeknit, so going up half a size will ensure the comfort and "slipper-like" feel that Primeknit fans cherish in their Yeezys.
